Bushmaster® MUTA® II BM 5.56 Direct-Thread Suppressor
 
The Bushmaster® MUTA® II is a compact, lightweight suppressor designed for 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington rifle platforms. Measuring 5.65 inches long and weighing 12.25 ounces, it combines sound suppression with a compact profile and direct-thread mounting.
 
A 3D-printed Inconel® 625 exterior and durable Cerakote® finish complement its rugged construction. The threaded front cap and removable baffles provide access for cleaning and maintenance.
Featuring ½×28 direct-thread mounting, the MUTA® II is designed for compatible Bushmaster® rifles and other compatible 5.56 NATO/.223 Remington platforms.

The federal suppressor transfer tax is $0. Under ATF guidance effective October 9, 2026, ATF is no longer enforcing federal NFA preapproval and registration requirements for suppressors.
Licensed-dealer transfer requirements, background checks, and applicable state and local laws still apply. Your receiving dealer can confirm the requirements for your location before purchase.
