What are the benefits of .223 Wylde?
The .223 Wylde chamber is designed to safely and accurately handle both .223 Remington and 5.56x45 NATO ammunition. It’s important to note that .223 Wylde is not a new cartridge, but rather a specialized chamber designed to combine the strengths of both platforms.
Developed as a hybrid solution, the .223 Wylde chamber incorporates key elements from both the 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington designs. It uses the external dimensions and lead angle of the 5.56 NATO while maintaining the tighter .2240 freebore diameter found in .223 Remington chambers.
This optimized design allows both types of ammunition to perform reliably without generating excessive pressure or sacrificing accuracy. In practice, it means you get the precision typically associated with .223 Remington, along with the ability to safely shoot 5.56 NATO rounds.

To avoid any delays in delivery, kindly ensure that you provide the FFL Dealer's information in the Shipping Directions when placing your order. If you do not provide the information with your order, we will reach out and request you provide us with your dealer's information to obtain a copy of their FFL. Once we receive the FFL, we will begin processing your order, and the lead time will start from that point. Lower Receivers Shipments:
Lower receivers are also considered firearms under federal regulations and require an FFL (Federal Firearms License) prior to shipment. Therefore, it is important to ensure that your FFL dealer sends us a copy of their license, along with your name and order number via email. We appreciate your attention to this matter as it helps us ensure a smooth and timely delivery of your order.
