Bushmaster Firearms Sponsors WEC Fatherweight Champion - Mike Brown

Wyndham, ME – Bushmaster Firearms
International, LLC, (BFI) is proud to announce its sponsorship of
WEC Featherweight Champion,
Mike Brown. Mike will defend his championship title on June
7th at the Arco Arena in Sacramento, California. The event will be
broadcast on VERSUS at 9:00 p.m. EST.
Currently ranked as the #1 featherweight fighter in the world, Brown
who is a native of Portland, Maine, began his wrestling career at
Bonny Eagle High School in Buxton and continued perfecting his
wrestling skills at Norwich University. Brown now lives in Florida
where he trains with some of the world’s best athletes at the
American Top Team Academy.

Brown has had an interest in the shooting sports for years but
lacked a mentor until BFI Sales Representative, Jarrod McDevitt, had
a chance to take Mike to the range with a few Bushmaster rifles.
McDevitt stated, “Once Mike fired that first shot with our rifle, he
was hooked! He is a fierce competitor in the cage and I can tell you
first hand he absolutely is one on the firing line as well. Mike now
enjoys getting out to the range when he needs to relax.” McDevitt
continued, “I am thrilled that BFI is sponsoring Mike’s WEC title
defense and that we can work with him on the range.”
