I did try and bore sight it with a laser bore sighter and it appears the laser is pointing way low and no matter what I do I can’t line up the detachable handle sights, the red dot rail mount or the magpul rail mount back up sights. Looks like everything would need to be raised from the rear but there is simply not enough adjustment on anything to accomplish this. All the sites are consistent with each other just Not with the laser bore site. Rotating bore sight in chamber yielded no difference and the chamber and barrel are spotless. Appears that the difference is approx 5 inches low on laser. I did remove bolt from upper and lined up the barrel the old fashioned way by eyeball and lined up target....sites still way high and not enough adjustment to compensate. http://www.bushmaster.com/faqs/?f=2539Fri, 25 Jun 2010 00:00:00 GMTFAQ # 2535 : I have an ORC. Please HELPhttp://www.bushmaster.com/faqs/?f=2360Wed, 31 Mar 2010 00:00:00 GMTFAQ # 2359 : I have a Bushmaster Patrolman carbine that requires 16 clicks left of center windage to bring the point of impact to the point of aim. This puts the site so close to the side of the carry handle that it is very distracting and must be fixed. Your FAQ says to replace the barrel index pin, but I can't find this item in your online store. Your FAQ also states that ten rounds are fired thru every gun you sell; how is it that a problem like this is not noticed at this time? I chose Bushmaster in an attempt to avoid these kind of problems.http://www.bushmaster.com/faqs/?f=2359Tue, 30 Mar 2010 00:00:00 GMTFAQ # 2354 : i purchased the BMAS folding front sight for V-Match rifles and carbines that attaches to the gas block. My son and I have very different eyesight and for pistols use different shooting aperatures to improve sighting. I am interested in your competition apperatures but am not not sure if they will easily fit this model. Please advise how to best proceed. Does Bushmaster sell this sight and does it require the taller sight post with my A.R.M.S. 40-L BUIS?http://www.bushmaster.com/faqs/?f=2115Tue, 29 Dec 2009 00:00:00 GMTFAQ # 2112 : What type of sight can be mounted in the carrying handle? Is it preferred to remove the carrying handle and mount a sight with a sight rail?http://www.bushmaster.com/faqs/?f=2112Mon, 28 Dec 2009 00:00:00 GMTFAQ # 2110 : I own a XM15-E25 even though I have had it for a while I only recently started attempting to zero it in. I noticed at the range the Rear Sight Assembly moves side to side approx.quarter of an inch. I went to my local gunsmith and he stated I should call and have a rear sight screw sent.(I contacted Bushmaster by phone and you sent me a rear sight index screw.) Great Customer Service! However this did not fix the problem. I removed the rear sight elevation spring pin (MS16562-121) and it apprears that the hole in the rear sight assembly (9349072) appears to be alot larger than the pin.and this allows for excess movement. What can I do to fix?http://www.bushmaster.com/faqs/?f=2110Sun, 27 Dec 2009 00:00:00 GMTFAQ # 2086 : Recently bought your Predator and mounted a leupold 30mm scope on the stock risers using Leupold medium rings. In need about 3/4" - 1" more eye relief but have the front riser block as far forward as it will go. Can you suggest what I should replace the stock riser block(s) with to get more forward adjustment? I'm trying to keep this as clean as possible and do not intend to mount anything on top of my current scope. http://www.bushmaster.com/faqs/?f=2086Tue, 15 Dec 2009 00:00:00 GMTFAQ # 2079 : What is the proper procedure for sighting in my Bushmaster xm15 e2s with an A1 upper?http://www.bushmaster.com/faqs/?f=2079Thu, 10 Dec 2009 00:00:00 GMTFAQ # 2072 : Hello, I am purchasing your C15 9mm carbine this week and I'd like to put a red dot reflex sight on it such as the Truglo TG8030MB. From eyeballing the diagram in the 9mm manual on your website, it looks like the front sight assembly will obstruct the view on any typical reflex sight. How do I overcome this? Can the front sight assembly be removed?http://www.bushmaster.com/faqs/?f=2072Tue, 08 Dec 2009 00:00:00 GMTFAQ # 2049 : Does the YHM-9394 fit my XM15-E2S ?http://www.bushmaster.com/faqs/?f=2049Sun, 29 Nov 2009 00:00:00 GMTFAQ # 2047 : I have the XM-15 E2S A3 16" and want to know the size of the rear site Aperture and the the size of the front sight post And how the competition part replacements are better and differhttp://www.bushmaster.com/faqs/?f=2047Sat, 28 Nov 2009 00:00:00 GMTFAQ # 2027 : When I zero'd at 25 yards using an a3 the front sight post had to be raised many many clicks to zero it in. The manual said to turn the elevation knob counterclockwise and then move to the flat marker and then two clicks to the "Z". This seems backwards since I had to raise the front sight post so high. Or have I misread the zero instructions? Should the elevation knob be moved clockwise before adjusting to the "Z"?http://www.bushmaster.com/faqs/?f=2027Mon, 23 Nov 2009 00:00:00 GMT
