Thank youhttp://www.bushmaster.com/faqs/?f=2612Sun, 25 Jul 2010 00:00:00 GMTFAQ # 2572 : I have an XM15-E2S, pre ban with 11.5 " bbl. SNL140350. I recently bought it used from a dealer. I had a problem with repeated jamming due to failure to eject. The extractor would retain the fired case and pick up a new round from the magazine. For a fix, I replaced the bolt assembly with a new one from brownells. (Bushmaster mfg). I returned to the range and fire about 15-18 rounds and the problem started again, jamming every third or forth round. The rifle was hot, and I let it cool for a few minutes. It worked OK for 6-7 rounds then started jamming again. To me it seems to do it as the rifle heats up, but I am not positive of that since I only let it cool once and then didn"t retry it. My best guess is that the bolt/carrier is not going far enough to the rear to activate the ejector and then picking up the next round and jamming. It seems to be either caused by the heat or gas system. I was not trying to fire rapid fire, but more sustained fire in 3 shot groups. I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thankshttp://www.bushmaster.com/faqs/?f=2480Mon, 24 May 2010 00:00:00 GMTFAQ # 2477 : I just purchased one of your ACRs and I put a couple hundred rounds through it without issue. After cleaning it I started to re-assymble it when I ran into an issue. Upon attempting to re-insert the bolt group it would only go in part of the way. I located the stoppage which was the firing pin retaining pin sticking out due to the rubber washer not going in all the way. I had to push it in as hard as I could to get it to go in far enough to allow the bolt carrier to move past the side rail on the upper reciever. Is this normal? Also, will you be offering a larger left-side safety selector switch, one that can be operated without having to move from the firing position (similar to the AR desigh)? I have large hands and still have to twist the rifle right to engage the safety...http://www.bushmaster.com/faqs/?f=2477Mon, 24 May 2010 00:00:00 GMTFAQ # 2476 : Where can I find the different caliber barrel/bolts for sale for the ACR?http://www.bushmaster.com/faqs/?f=2476Mon, 24 May 2010 00:00:00 GMTFAQ # 2474 : Why did you stop making the m17s bullpup rifle, I love mine and wanted to buy another?http://www.bushmaster.com/faqs/?f=2474Sat, 22 May 2010 00:00:00 GMTFAQ # 2472 : I just purchased a used bushmaster and would like as much info on it as you can give me. The rifle has permanent (non-collapsable) shoulder stock. It is the model with the trap door on the existing butt stock. My problem is that I cannot loosen the two screws in the buttstock. Do the screws have locktite on them? If so, do you have any suggestions? Is there a special tool other than a standard flat-head screwdriver needed? I don't want to strip the threads or the heads of the screws. Any help will be appreciated. I have been digging around on the internet looking and comparing bullets. I have notice that there are a lot more choices in .224 bullets. Is possible to reload those bullets into a .223 case and shoot them in my AR. If so what is your suggestion for max and min grain bullets to use for that barrel? It most closely resembles the modular carbine, but has some differences. The gas block does not have the accessory rail. The front sight is a flip-up MI mounted on the hand guard. Is this an older model? Is there a model number/name that goes with that upper? The lower is s/n L397826. Thank you.http://www.bushmaster.com/faqs/?f=2443Mon, 03 May 2010 00:00:00 GMTFAQ # 2441 : I have a Colt SP1 which serial number suggests it was manufactured in 1978 or thereabouts. I would like to get all the Tech Spec's on this model i.e. Chrome lined barrel, etc... and would like to know if the muzzle brake is pinned & welded and the history of and how many of the BAR 308's were made before you discontinued the model? I would also like to know if you still have any spare parts like Bolts, Carriers, springs etc....and if not who would have the parts? This one appears almost new and I would guess less than 50 rounds have been fired by the looks of the bolt etc... I have heard the rumors of bolts breaking and other problems with feeding, how true are any of these? Thanks for any and all help with this information and your time.
