High to-low, which ones have you found to be most accurate on 200-300 yard course of fire? 55g, 62, 69, 77, & 80.http://www.bushmaster.com/faqs/?f=2582Sun, 11 Jul 2010 00:00:00 GMTFAQ # 2579 : I have a Remington R15. I understand that it is actually manufactured by Bushmaster. The barrel is stamped .223. I own a Bushmaster Varminter 24 inch upper and a Bushmaster Predator 20 inch upper. In comparing the uppers, side by side it is obvious that the R15 upper is made by Bushmaster. I have considerable experience with AR15 rifles and their ammunition and find it hard to believe that the R15, manufactured by Bushmaster would have a barrel that has a different leade that would restrict it from firing 5.56 ammunition. Can I fire 5.56 ammo in my R15 without problems?http://www.bushmaster.com/faqs/?f=2579Sat, 10 Jul 2010 00:00:00 GMTFAQ # 2578 : I recently purchased a carbon 15. I have put about three hundred rounds through it. Three times the spent cartridge would'nt eject. One time the bolt was locked closed and I had to pull back on the charging handle while slaming the stock to the deck to free the cartridge. Two times a jam was created as the next round was being cycled in. What could be be the possible causes/remedy for this situation. http://www.bushmaster.com/faqs/?f=2578Sat, 10 Jul 2010 00:00:00 GMTFAQ # 2577 : 5.56 varmint.the bullet scores the feed ramp , only on the left side.mil spec ammo,or handloads, oal of cartrige 2.245 well under the max,2.260. I would like to put a 16" bull barrel on it. Do I need any special adaptive parts to match an AR 15 16" bull to the carbon 15 upper?http://www.bushmaster.com/faqs/?f=2576Sat, 10 Jul 2010 00:00:00 GMTFAQ # 2574 : Will a bushmaster 6.8mm upper fit on a S&W M&P15 lowerhttp://www.bushmaster.com/faqs/?f=2574Sat, 10 Jul 2010 00:00:00 GMTFAQ # 2573 : I recently picked up a Model XM15-E2S Serial #L087398 which is assume was made during AWB period of 94-04 as it has the fake, non moving collapsible stock. I want to replace the stock with one that truly functions. The large nut on the recoil spring tube at the back of the receiver, is that staked on ?? How difficult is that to remove?? Please advise, thank you. Bobhttp://www.bushmaster.com/faqs/?f=2573Fri, 09 Jul 2010 00:00:00 GMTFAQ # 2572 : I have an XM15-E2S, pre ban with 11.5 " bbl. SNL140350. I recently bought it used from a dealer. I had a problem with repeated jamming due to failure to eject. The extractor would retain the fired case and pick up a new round from the magazine. For a fix, I replaced the bolt assembly with a new one from brownells. (Bushmaster mfg). I returned to the range and fire about 15-18 rounds and the problem started again, jamming every third or forth round. The rifle was hot, and I let it cool for a few minutes. It worked OK for 6-7 rounds then started jamming again. To me it seems to do it as the rifle heats up, but I am not positive of that since I only let it cool once and then didn"t retry it. My best guess is that the bolt/carrier is not going far enough to the rear to activate the ejector and then picking up the next round and jamming. It seems to be either caused by the heat or gas system. I was not trying to fire rapid fire, but more sustained fire in 3 shot groups. I'd appreciate any suggestions. Sorry, I know that you guys get these all the time, but I have seriously been trying to find out and can't without the experts, that's you guys. Alright, I have one of 'those' ar-15's and m-4's both of which are post ban era carbines. Now, how in the world am I able to get that stupid a$$ compensator off of the danged barrel. You might call it a 'muzzle break'? But, I'm a Marine and we call it a 'compensator' I want to be able to get the stupid thing off so that I can slap something else on there. Please, any help at all would be great, even if I HAVE TOO! I will go to a gunsmith to get it done, even though I'd love to just do it myself. Again, ANY help you can give me would be great.
