does bushmaster use commercial or mil spec buffer tubes?
I just bought a model xm15-e2s a2 model 20 inch barrel, yesterday and when we got it home I went to remove the lower receiver takedown pin to do a quick cleaning and make sure it was lubed up to take to the range. I cannot slide the pin to break it down. Am I suppose to use a punch on this?? My memory from my military days is that this should just slide out with a small amount of pressure from your thumb. Do I need to have this taken to a gunsmith for repair??
I want to replace my stock. It's the one that came with my Bushmaster M4A3 Carbine Post-Ban. I'm looking at an ACE Skeleton stock. They make one that is 9.9" and uses a standard A1/A2 receiver extension tube, buffer and spring. There is also the 7 1/4" ACE Entry Skeleton Stock which uses CAR length buffer and spring. What are the specs for the spring, tube, and buffer and which stock will work with the buffer and spring from the Bushmaster M4A3 Carbine Post Ban? Thank you for your help.
