Norman A. Chandler III
Chief Executive Officer

Born in the Naval Hospital at Bethesda, MD Norman Chandler Jr. started life in a Marine Corps Household.  Growing up in that environment was conducive for the future career in weapons manufacturing and design.  As an employee and eventually Vice President of Iron Brigade Armory, Norm Chandler Jr. learned from USMC armorers bearing the 2112 RTE MOS.  When Bushmaster Firearms and Iron Brigade Armory formed a Join t Venture Company, Norm Chandler Jr. was appointed as the CEO of the Bushmaster Custom Shop.

     
 

Phillip M. Jones
Director of Operations

Born and raised in Hickory, North Carolina, Phil graduated from St. Stephens High School  and went on to serve four years in the United States Marine Corps He then began his law enforcement career as was a police officer with the City of in Norfolk, VA   before moving and continuing the same in  the city of Hickory, NC . Phil went on to work with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol for the next 27 years retiring at the rank of Captain.  Among many assignments while with the NC State Highway Patrol, he was the supervisor in charge of the Patrol's Armory and Firearms Training Program . Phil also is a graduate of the Administrative Officer's Course, Southern Police Institute, at the University of Louisville, Kentucky.

     
 

Greg Kirkman
Director of Administration

A native of North Carolina, Greg spent 30 years as a law enforcement officer and firearms instructor.  Retired from Wake County Sheriff's Department Intelligence Unit, Greg also has an established business over the past 12 years of providing a Concealed Carry Weapons course for the general public where he is able to share his expertise and life experiences as a law enforcement officer as it relates to carrying concealed weapons.  Since his retirement, Greg has been actively involved in the firearms industry both as a trainer and in sales and marketing.  Greg has written and implemented special weapons training programs for a number of police agencies in North Carolina.  Greg brings his experiences and attributes to Bushmaster Custom as the Director of Administration.

     
 

Denise Kirkman
Human Resources
Born and raised in Ohio, Denise moved to North Carolina in 1987 after her marriage to Greg Kirkman who is currently the Director of Administration at Bushmaster Custom.  They have five children between the ages of 19 and 32.  Denise's background has primarily been in the medical field involving start-up business situations, including participation in creating the infrastructures for various physician entities within and outside of hospital settings from residency and medical education programs to an entire medical staff private practice and Independent Physician Associations that deal with various health insurance issues.  Denise's start-up business background has helped Bushmaster Custom develop the area of Human Resourcs.

     
 

Lucy Williams
Bookkeeper
Lucy graduated from Princess Ann High School in Virginia Beach, Virginia where she first developed an interest in Business and Accounting.  She earned an Associate's Degree in Business Administration at Tidewater Community College where she majored in accounting.  Although new to this particular industry, Lucy's career has been spent in the field of accounting and she brings that expertise to Bushmaster Custom Shop where she has been employed since August of 2007

     
 

Kenneth W. Hendrix 
Logistics Chief, Bushmaster Custom Shop
After serving 21 years in the United States Marine Corps, Ken retired  at the rank of Gunnery Sergeant.  His primary assignment was as Personnel and Administrative Chief but had various other assignments not only with in the United States, but also aboard ship as well as in numerous deployments overseas. He brings his military background and experience to Bushmaster Custom Shop where he serves as Logistics Chief.

     
 

KC Crawford
Shop Chief, Bushmaster Custom Shop

After graduat ing from Ruskin High School in Kansas City, Missouri  KC served on active duty in the United States Marine Corps for 21 years retiring at the rank of Gunnery Sergeant.  He held military occupational specialties of:  Basic Small Arms Repairman-2111, Rifle Team Equipment Repairman-2112, and Small Arms Weapons Instructor-8532.  He performed duties as Chief Instructor, Pistol Section at the Rifle Team Equipment Repair Facility, Weapons Training Battalion, Quantico, VA.  He has been employed as a full-time gunsmith specializing in the building of match weapon systems.  He is currently the Shop Chief at Bushmaster Custom Shop.

     
 

A.J. Reimann
Machinist

A.J. was born in Daytona Beach, Florida, then   relocated to upstate New York before moving to North Carolina.  While attending high school in Princeton, North Carolina , he participated in a two-year tool and die apprenticeship at Tar Heel Tooling . During this same time, AJ took college classes in tool and die as well as in CAD/CAM .  After high school, he gained further experience work ing at other machine shops where he learned to utilize CAD/CAM for CNC p rogramming along with manual and Proto Trak machining.  AJ obtained his private pilot license about four years ago.   He enjoys IPSC shooting and won a silver medal in the 2006 North Carolina State Games.  He now resides in Jacksonville, NC with his wife and daughter.

     
 

Jason A. Gunn
Ordnance Machinist/Gunsmith

Born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Jason relocated to and graduated from high school in Fayetteville, NC.  He took an interest in firearms at a young age, always taking them apart to see how they work.  Jason apprenticed under a gunsmith beginning at age 16 and went on to study at Montgomery Community College in Troy, NC where he graduated with an Associates Degree in Applied Science of Gunsmithing.  He has worked as a gunsmith through high school and college where he learned and honed most of the skills he uses today.

     
 

Scott R. Serig
Ordnance Machinist/Gunsmith

Scott was born and raised in Spartanburg, South Carolina and graduated from Chapman High School in Inman, SC.  Re received an Associates Degree in Applied Science of Gunsmithing from Montgomery  Community College in Troy, NC.  For four years, Scott owned and operated a Kuk Sool Wong Dojang in Spartanburg where he taught the national martial art of Korea.  Also during that time, he served as a Detention Officer for Spartanburg County.  Scott is an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor, Taser International Certified Instructor, Beretta Certified Armorer and a huge John Wayne fan

     
 

Jason D. Eller
Ordnance Machinist/Gunsmith
Born in Germany and raised all over the world, Jason graduated from O. W. Holmes High School in San Antonio Texas.  He served in the USMC and North Carolina Army National Guard.  After completing a year tour in Iraq, Jason went on to serve in the Pennsylvania Air National Guard.    He received an Associates Degree in Applied Science of Gunsmithing from Montgomery Community College in Troy, NC and worked two years as a gunsmith before coming to Bushmaster Custom Shop.  He has taken additional courses in engraving, checkering, AR-15 match accurizing and custom knife making to further his expertise.
